Bhagavad Gita is the most popular and beloved scripture of Hinduism. It is a part of Mahabharata, an epic poem written by Sage Vyasa in Sanskrit language. The 12th chapter of Bhagavad Gita deals with the concept of liberation from worldly life or moksha. The 10th shloka in this chapter explains that one should give up their attachment to materialistic things if they want to achieve ultimate freedom.  The shloka says – “Tyaktvaa deham punarjanma naiti maam eti So'rjuna |” which means "Abandoning your body, you will not take birth again; you will come unto Me alone".  ভগবদ্গীতা হিন্দুধর্মের সবচেয়ে জনপ্রিয় এবং প্রিয় ধর্মগ্রন্থ। এটি মহাভারতের একটি অংশ, সংস্কৃত ভাষায় ঋষি ব্যাস রচিত একটি মহাকাব্য। ভগবদ্গীতা পার্থিব জীবন বা মোক্ষ থেকে মুক্তির ধারণা নিয়ে কাজ করে। এই ভগবদ্গীতার একটি শ্লোক ব্যাখ্যা করে যে যদি কেউ চূড়ান্ত স্বাধীনতা পেতে চায় তবে বস্তুবাদী জিনিসের প্রতি তাদের আসক্তি ত্যাগ করা উচিত। শ্লোক বলে – “ত্যক্ত্বা দেহাম পুনর্জন্ম নৈতি মাম ইতি সোর্জুন |” যার অর্থ "তোমার শরীর ত্যাগ করলে, তুমি আর জন্ম নেবে না; তুমি একা আমার কাছে আসবে"। এই শ্লোকটি শারীরিক সম্পদ এবং মুক্তি বা মোক্ষ (পরিত্রাণ) অর্জনের আকাঙ্ক্ষা থেকে নিজেকে বিচ্ছিন্ন করার উপর জোর দেয়। এই শ্লোকের পিছনে ধারণাটি হল যে আমরা যখন পৃথিবীতে আছি, আমাদের অবশ্যই আধ্যাত্মিক জ্ঞান অর্জনের জন্য প্রচেষ্টা করতে হবে, কারণ এটি আমাদের সর্বশক্তিমান ঈশ্বরের কাছাকাছি নিয়ে যায় এবং অবশেষে আমাদের চিরন্তন আনন্দ দেয়। অর্থ, খ্যাতি ইত্যাদির মতো বস্তুবাদী বস্তুর সাথে আমাদের সংযুক্তির কারণে পৃথিবীতে জীবন দুঃখ-কষ্টে পূর্ণ, যা আমাদের আসল উদ্দেশ্য - সর্বশক্তিমান ঈশ্বরের (পরমাত্মা) সাথে মিলন সম্পর্কে ভুলে ...
